TellusArt has just completed one of its Major International art events in Jan’10 successfully in India. School Children and 52 Professional artists were invited from 44 countries Asia & Scandinavia to participate in this mega event. The Theme of this project was on Protecting the Wild Life. The Program was entitled as ‘Protect Wildlife Heritage’-an appeal by children, Phase I. Mumbai is the first city to host this program. In the later phases, the same project will be conducted in other parts of the World. All the participants and other art lovers showed the great interest in the natural environment created by TellusArt!  


The event was inaugurated by the H’ble Ambassador of Sweden in India, Mr. Lars Olof Lindgren, along with Antonio E Costa, an eminent artist from Goa. Mr. Dilip Ranade was a representative & speaker from the Prince of Wales museum.

 Approximate 200 selected artworks were exhibited in the gallery painted by children and youth from the India and other Asian countries.

Parallely Artwork comprising of Paintings, Installations and Photographs by 52 Professional Artists was displayed in the gallery.

Art Workshop on ‘Protect Wildlife Heritage’ was jointly held for Scandinavian and Asian artists. The workshop was open to the public where they were free to interact with the artists.

 On 19th January, a creative workshop, for children and youth from the invited schools along with senior artists, was held at museum gallery, where they all got an opportunity to learn & interact directly to the artists on the sensitive issue.
